After several weeks of production, inspection and packing, another batch of PTFE lined pipework was finally loaded into the container and started its journey to Ukraine.
Unlike standard steel pipes, PTFE lined pipework requires much more attention before shipment. Once the PTFE lining is damaged during transportation, it cannot simply be repaired on site. That's why our team spent almost the entire afternoon checking flange protection, pipe markings and wooden case fixing before the container doors were closed.
One of our inspectors walked through the packing area with the customer's packing list in hand, checking every pipe spool one by one. Although these inspections take time, they help avoid installation problems after the cargo arrives on site.
This order includes PTFE lined straight pipes, elbows, tees and matching pipe fittings that will be installed in a chemical processing system handling corrosive media. For projects like this, reliable delivery is just as important as manufacturing quality. Missing even one fitting can delay an entire piping installation.
Before loading, every package was labelled according to the customer's piping drawings so the installation team can quickly identify each component after delivery. It's a small detail, but one our customers appreciate because it saves valuable time during site installation.
Watching the forklift move the final wooden case into the container is always a satisfying moment. It marks the end of weeks of manufacturing and the beginning of another customer's project.
